Surf Therapy

What is Surf Therapy

By using progressive structured ocean based therapy programmes we are able to affect meaningful evidence-based change in people’s lives by improving participants mental and physical well-being.

Who can participate

Surf therapy is not just for people with a physical or intellectual disabilities. It’s for everyone – we all know someone suffering from stress, panic attacks, high anxiety, depression and burn out. We focus on wellness and not illness, on ability not disability.

Programme Benefits

For participants surf therapy programmes are the highlight of their month and by "just being included" it is a pivotal moment for these individuals. Experiencing the exhilaration and freedom of movement when replacing their wheelchair for a surfboard and riding a wave for the first time.
