About International Day of Persons with Disabilities
International Day of Persons with Disabilities (December 3) is an international observance promoted by the United Nations since 1992. The observance of the Day aims to promote an understanding of disability issues and mobilize support for the dignity, rights and well-being of persons with disabilities. It also seeks to increase awareness of gains to be derived from the integration of persons with disabilities in every aspect of political, social, economic and cultural life.
About International Volunteers Day
International Volunteers Day (December 5) was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1985 to recognize and celebrate the contributions of volunteers worldwide. It was first observed in 1986. The day also serves as an opportunity to highlight the importance of volunteerism in achieving sustainable development goals.
Join us in celebrating International Day of Persons with Disabilities and International Volunteer Day on December 7th—where the beach becomes a place of unity, joy, and empowerment for everyone.
