SA PARA SURF CHAMPS
South African athletes only wishing to compete in the SA Champs event can do so. All South African athletes competing in the SA Champs 2023 will make themselves eligible for selection for Team South Africa that will be competing at the ISA World Para Surfing Championships in December 2023. South African Athletes are to please enter using the promo-code RSATeamOnly and pay R250 ($20usd)+ EventBrite Fee. Please note South African athletes entering this code will not be eligible for any of the PSL prize purse or PSL Global ranking.
PARA SURF LEAGUE OPEN
This event is the 1st and only stop of the Para Surf League Africa’s tour. Being the only PSL stop in Africa, this contest will be the one and only National and Continental Zone contest for the Africa’s tour and will have a prize purse including the Contest and Continental Zone prize purse. Ranking from this event will be calculated and added to athletes overall ranking within the PSL and will determine seeding at the Para Surf League Global Championships to be held in late 2023/ early 2024 in Pismo Beach, CA, USA .
South African national athletes wanting to participate in the Para Surf League Tour or be part of the PSL Global rankings and a contender for the prize purse will be required to pay the PSL registration fee of $150 USD + eventbrite fee.
