7 November- Adaptive Surf Skills and Inclusion Surf Therapy and Beach Day

Join us for a morning filled with surfing, connection, and celebration as we recognise the spirit of community, resilience, and shared purpose that drives the Roxy Davis Foundation.
Date: Saturday, 7 November 2026
Location: Muizenberg Beach
Theme: Skill progression, adaptive equipment showcase and disability awareness
November bridges our annual schedule between Mental Health Month and the December focus on disability rights and volunteerism. The session will spotlight adaptive surfing skill progression and the equipment that makes ocean access possible across all 50 disability categories we work with. Participants will be supported to set personal skill goals, work with appropriate adaptive equipment and demonstrate the breadth of what adaptive surfing looks like in practice.
Programme highlights:
The Surf Therapy clinics are designed for:
- Anyone who has a permanent or temporary disability
- Community members who’d like to volunteer their time and support in changing lives
