Join us for a morning filled with body surfing, connection, and celebration as we recognise the spirit of community, resilience, and shared purpose that drives the Roxy Davis Foundation.

Theme: Mental wellbeing, blue mind and the therapeutic power of the ocean
October is Mental Health Awareness Month and includes World Mental Health Day. This special RDF ocean day will create space for connection, movement, breath, reflection and time in and
around the ocean. The morning will bring participants and volunteers together through accessible ocean based activities and meaningful one to one connection. Participants will be supported to explore how movement, breath, water and community contribute to mental wellbeing, with particular relevance for those navigating disability, chronic illness and the daily realities that affect mental health.
Programme highlights:
● Grounding, breathwork and connection on land
● Ocean therapy session with mental wellbeing reflection points
● Post-session debrief and resource sharing on mental health support pathways
The Ocean Therapy Day is designed for:
1. Anyone with a permanent or temporary disability, chronic illness or other life circumstances that may impact their wellbeing
2. Community members who would like to volunteer their time and connect with someone new
