6 June- Indoor water confidence and physical activity session

Time: 11:30am – 4:00pm
Activities: Water confidence, learn to swim, first aid and water rescue, body awareness and vital signs
A structured session focused on water confidence, physical activity and aquatic safety, delivered at the Generation School Imhoff location. The session runs in two phases. The hall block covers breath work and body awareness and vital signs across a 90-minute window, after which participants change for the pool. The pool block delivers the practical water work. The controlled indoor environment removes the variables of cold and unpredictable June weather, ensuring participants continue building water confidence without interruption. The session is designed in alignment with surf therapy principles and linked to relevant learning outcomes, with opportunities to introduce or progress participants toward water safety and aquatic-related certifications that complement what we do in the ocean.
