This event aims to make the beach experience accessible for everyone while promoting surf therapy as a unique way to boost mental and physical well-being.<\/p>\n Join us for a Day of Inclusion, Empowerment, and Fun! The Roxy Davis Foundation invites everyone to join this event and experience the joy of the ocean and community. The Roxy Davis Foundation will provide services to support persons with disabilities, including access mats and assistance to bring participants safely to the water\u2019s edge. For those unable to join in surfing, there will be a variety of beach activities to ensure a memorable day for everyone. It also seeks to increase awareness of gains to be derived from the integration of persons with disabilities in every aspect of political, social, economic and cultural life.<\/p>\n \n About International Volunteers Day <\/strong><\/p>\n International Volunteers Day (December 5) was\u00a0established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1985 to recognize and celebrate the contributions of volunteers worldwide. It was first observed in 1986.
